Understanding Shutter Speed (testing : Slow Shutter)

Today i just want to share some knowledge that i learn.about shutter speed.
Definition of Shutter-Amount of time that your camera shutter stays open.

This picture i decide to give a effect of slow shutter. With shutter speed now set to a relatively length 1/2 sec.. the water flow appear as blur moving accros the frame.

For this picture i setup 1/1000 sec. The movement has been frozen by the fast shutter speed. in this case the image look static.
